Styx, Wicked, Tina Turner musical coming to Orlando this month

Styx, Wicked, and a Tina Turner musical are among the many headlining acts that will perform in Orlando this month.

Neil deGrasse Tyson will give an illustrated talk entitled “The Search for Life in the Universe” at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, January 8. Tickets for the engagement start at $49.50.

On January 13 and 14, comedian Matteo Lane will perform multiple shows at the Orlando Improv. Tickets start at $37.00 and are available through the Orlando Improv website.

Styx will perform at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on January 18 as part of the group’s 50th-anniversary tour. Tickets for the concert start at $34.75.

On January 20 and 21, comedian Michael Rapaport will visit the Orlando Improv for a series of shows. Tickets for the shows start at $37 and are available through the Orlando Improv website.

Wicked, the Broadway show that offers a different take on the events in the Wizard of Oz, will take up residency at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts’ Walt Disney Theater beginning January 25. Tickets are currently on sale through the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts website.

Tina, a musical covering the life and times of musician Tina Turner, will take up residency at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts from January 10 through January 15. For tickets, visit the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts website.
