George Jordanides, 85, of Kissimmee Florida, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023. George was born in Ansonia, Connecticut on October 16, 1937 and then moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1989.
George owned Dairy Mart Convenience store in Seymour Ct. and worked as Bosun Able Seaman with the United States Merchant Marine for 43 years where he traveled on 71 different ships, to many countries all over the world. After retirement, he worked as a Crossing Guard in Kissimmee.
He enjoyed the outdoors of nature, loved watching football, spending time with family and adored children and animals.
George is survived by his loving wife Marcy Jordanides, son Stephen Jordanides (Amy) of Seymour CT, daughter Lea of Thornton, CO, and son Marc Jordanides (Kim) St. Cloud, FL. He has two grandchildren Ashley and Matthew, Seymour CT.
