Police are looking for an armed suspect who carjacked a vehicle in the departures section of the Orlando International Airport today.
Orlando Police Department airport units responded to the Frontier Airlines curbside in reference to an armed carjacking earlier today.
According to police, an unknown man dressed in dark clothing approached the driver’s door of a vehicle that had one occupant inside.
The victim says the suspect was armed and entered the victim’s vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle as the suspect entered, according to police.
After approximately 10 to 20 minutes, law enforcement authorities were notified. A be-on-the-lookout was issued to surrounding agencies and a search was conducted on property with the assistance of OPD Crime Center.
The suspect was not located after the search.
