Six seriously injured in crash on John Young Parkway

Nine people were injured, including six with serious injuries, after a two-vehicle accident at a major intersection near Interstate 4 in Orlando.

Orlando Fire Department crews, including three engines, and six transport units, responded to the intersection of John Young Parkway and LB McLeod Road on Sunday, January 8.

According to OFD, as a result of the collision, nine patients were injured and required medical attention, including six who sustained serious injuries.

Four of the patients were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, two were transported to Orlando Health Dr. Phillips Hospital, and two others were transported to HCA Florida Millenia Emergency.

One of the vehicle occupants refused transport.
