Elsie Miller was born in Manchester, Jamaica on August 11, 1930, to parents Francis Nelson and Abrian Miller. Elsie was the third of seven children. She leaves behind four sisters Gloria Harrison, Hazel Powell, Eleene Simms, and Ellen Mc.Dermoth, along with other nieces, nephews, cousins and many spiritual brothers and sisters.
Elsie was a kind and loving person who was always ready to lend a hand in time of need. She started her Nursing career in Jamaica and completed her healthcare training as a Licensed Practical Nurse here in America.
Elsie’s love for Jehovah was influenced by a brother she lovingly called Uncle Dee. She developed a deep love for Jehovah and eventually got baptized in 1958 at the Yankee Stadium in New York. She then served as a publisher and a regular pioneer. She loved associating with the friends in her Congregation, but she enjoyed her Theocratic Ministry work the most.
Sister Elsie as she was respectfully called, completed her earthly course on Friday, December 16, 2022. She will be missed by all.
