We are saddened to announce the passing of Scott Fitzgerald Elrod , 56 who
passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Scott was an Osage Indian born in Oklahoma and a University of Oklahoma Alumnus. He was a lifelong fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and the Saint Louis Cardinals. He had a distinguished career at Walt Disney World. He liked to skydive, play golf and chess and go on cruises. He loved spending time and caring for his cats Lucy, Midnight, and Stinky. (meow)
He was the son of Ava Blumer (Bob) and Sam Elrod (Merry). He was the loving brother to Michael (Chris), Jennifer Dobbins (Doug), and loving uncle to Alexandra Dobbins.
He is survived by his beloved son Elijah (Karina), Allie Raposo-Elrod, Michael Elrod (Chris), Jennifer Dobbins, Ava Blumer, Merry Elrod, and Alexandra Dobbins.
He will remain in our hearts and minds forever and will be sorely missed.
