A 28-year-old Orlando man was killed on Friday morning after he was ejected from his motorcycle while exiting State Road 408.
The fatal accident took place on the highway’s Dean Road exit ramp on Friday, January 20, at around 5:48 a.m.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Honda motorcycle eastbound, in the right lane of the exit ramp, when his vehicle traveled southeast off the road.
The motorcycle’s front tire struck a curb, causing the vehicle to fall onto its right side and continue east. After hitting the curb, the motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash temporarily shut down the exit ramp at the toll plaza for multiple hours on Friday morning.
