A fatal accident has temporarily shut down a busy exit on State Road 408 this morning.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to reports of a fatal accident on eastbound State Road 408 early this morning.
Preliminary reports suggest an accident between two vehicles occurred at the Dean Road exit on the highway. Authorities say there is at least one confirmed fatality.
The ramp at the toll plaza was shut down and has remained closed for the last several hours.
