A 31-year-old Poinciana man was killed on Wednesday afternoon after he was involved in an accident with another vehicle in Osceola County.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place at the intersection of S Poinciana Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road on Wednesday, January 25, at around 1:26 p.m.
The 31-year-old man was driving his 2010 Honda Insight northbound on Poinciana Boulevard, approaching Pleasant Hill Road.
A 47-year-old Kissimmee man was traveling westbound in a 2007 Ford E-350 when he attempted to make a left turn to travel southbound on Poinciana Boulevard and crashed into the right side of the Honda.
After the impact, the Honda entered the southbound lanes of the highway and began overturning, colliding with the front of a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox being driven by a 30-year-old Kissimmee woman.
While the Honda was overturning, its engine was thrown from the vehicle and collided with the left side of a 2022 Toyota Corolla being driven by a 56-year-old Kissimmee woman.
The drivers and passengers of the Ford, Chevy, and Toyota were all either uninjured or sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced deceased on the scene.
