Shirley Ann Tyson Bloemker passed away on Monday, January 2nd, 2023. Shirley was born on June 8th, 1953 in Orange, New Jersey.
She retired from Florida Hospital as a medical coder. Her favorite football team was the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was an enthusiastic fan! Shirley and her late husband Charlie were enthusiastic ballroom dancers, even going on dance-themed cruises. They were faithful supporters of cat rescue organizations. They donated to many local cat shelters and adopted several cats over the years. This was something she continued to do after Charlie’s passing.
Shirley is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lynn Tyson, and their children and grandchildren, her cousins, including Sherry Ann Prather and Sharon Boyle and her beloved cat, Tanner. She was predeceased by her parents R. Thomas and Betty Tyson, and her husband Charles “Charlie” Bloemker. Shirley will be dearly missed.
