The 48th installment of the Mount Dora Art Festival will take place this weekend.
The event returns to the streets of downtown Mount Dora on Saturday, February 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, February 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year’s festival features over 250 artists from all over the world. Art mediums for sale include painting, sculpture, clay, mixed media, photography, fiber art, fine fabricated jewelry, and multiple others.
In addition to artists, the festival will feature a kids’ zone, food and retail vendors, and live entertainment throughout the weekend. Beer, wine, and cocktails are available to purchase at kiosks around the city, and restaurants will be open regular hours.
Proceeds benefit Mount Dora Center for the Arts and provide art camp scholarships to underserved children in the community.
