A 48-year-old Kissimmee woman claimed a $1 million prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off on Monday.
Lourdes Fernandez Bou claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery Orlando District Office after purchasing a winning Gold Rush Limited Scratch-off ticket.
Bou chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000. She purchased the winning ticket from the Speedway gas station located at 4500 13th Street in St. Cloud. The retail store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
Launched in September 2021, the $20 Gold Rush Limited scratch-off series features 32 top prizes of $5 million, 100 prizes of $1 million, and 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000.
