A 61-year-old man was killed after his vehicle was struck by another vehicle at an east Orlando intersection.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Mark Twain Boulevard and Huckleberry Finn Drive on Wednesday, February 8, at around 6:40 a.m., according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on Huckleberry Finn Drive when he pulled into the road’s intersection with Mark Twain Boulevard. As he was driving through the intersection, his vehicle was struck by a Cadillac SUV that was traveling northbound on Mark Twain Boulevard.
The driver of the Camry was transported to the Florida Hospital East, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
The driver of the Cadillac, a 54-year-old Orlando man, received minor injuries as a result of the crash.
