Just Salad opens first Orlando area locations

An eatery serving chef-designed salads, wraps, and bowls has opened its first two locations in the Orlando area.

Just Salad celebrated grand openings for two new restaurants in Winter Park and Winter Garden this week at 415 S Orlando Avenue and 3119 Daniels Road Unit 104, respectively.

The restaurant’s menu is an extensive list of seasonal salads, warm bowls, wraps, avocado toasts, soups, and plant-based smoothies. Each Just Salad also sells bottles of their popular salad dressings, which come in a dozen varieties.

Unlike its competitors, Just Salad touts a sustainable approach to its business. That includes features like the “longest-running reusable packaging program in the restaurant industry,” according to the company’s website. The business sells reusable bowls for $1. Whenever a reusable bowl is used in-store, a free topping is made available to the customer.

Furthermore, the business offers Carbon labels that show the environmental impact of individually purchased items.

As part of their opening celebrations, the restaurants will offer $5 meals all day through February 11. On February 15, the locations will offer first responders, healthcare employees, and other community workers $5 meals all day.

Founded in New York City in 2006, Just Salad currently operates nearly six dozen locations across the United States, including 13 other locations in the Sunshine State. The business is currently working on new locations in Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut, among others.

The Winter Park location joins multiple other restaurants that have opened nearby in recent months. That includes next-door neighbor Paris Baguette, which celebrated its grand opening last fall, and Crisp & Green, which features a similar menu.

Just Salad is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
