A teenager has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 21-year-old Orlando man who was shot and killed less than two months after his 47-year-old mother passed away.

Jacbo Andrew LeGrand, who turned 18 years old a few weeks ago, was arrested by Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies and charged with the murder of Kyle D’Jireh Mote, according to a statement issued by police.

Mote was found on November 1 in the 2100 block of Americana Boulevard by officers responding to a shooting. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Mote’s death came less than two months after his 47-year-old mother, Sharanda Monita Mote, passed away.

The shooting occurred near an area where another victim, Wingly St. Vil, was shot and killed earlier this summer.
