Orange Avenue Smoke Shop replaces shuttered Radio Shack in SoDo District

A new smoke shop has replaced Orlando’s last Radio Shack just weeks after it closed its doors.

Orange Avenue Smoke Shop has taken over the former location of the electronics store at 2001 S Orange Avenue. The smoke shop opened recently and sells a bevy of products related to smoking.

Earlier this year, Innovative Electronics, which was the last authorized RadioShack dealer in Orange County, closed its doors after five decades of operation. The business was established in 1970.

The smoke shop is one of many businesses opening new locations in Orlando’s South Downtown (SoDo) District.

That includes Pollo Campero, which will replace a Five Guys that closed down last year after a ten-year run.

It also includes World Famous House of Mac and Cheese, which celebrated its grand opening this month.

Orange Avenue Smoke Shop is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. For more information about the shop or its products, visit the Orange Avenue Smoke Shop website.
