DeLand police are investigating the death of a homeless man whose body was found in a local wooded area.
On Monday, at around 5:01 p.m., DeLand Police Department officers responded to the 2000 block of South Woodland Boulevard in reference to a deceased body.
Upon arrival, police found a deceased male in a wooded area. The area where the man was located is known to be frequented by homeless individuals, according to DPD.
Authorities do not believe foul play was involved in the death.
