Brenda Kay Kraeger, age 66, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 9, 1957 to Jack T. and Barbara L. Monhollen. She passed away on February 18, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida after a brief but courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Brenda moved to St Cloud, Florida in 1970 and graduated from St Cloud High School in 1975. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Daniel Kraeger on November 19, 1981 at St Luke & St Peter Episcopal Church in St Cloud, Florida. Brenda retired in 2019 from CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc in Nashville TN after a lengthy career as an Intermodal Service Representative. Prior to her career at CSX, she held several different positions at varied companies throughout the world in support of Dan’s Air Force career.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Daniel Kraeger of Port St Lucie FL, sons Shane (Amanda) Kraeger of Alta Vista VA and Alex (Mary) Kraeger of Port St Lucie FL, brother Kenneth A. (Jody) Monhollen of Madisonville TN, sisters Sharon Ashby (Dave Lott) of St Cloud FL and Crystal Monhollen of Port St Lucie FL, grandchildren Kai Valko, Colin and Weston Kraeger of Port St Lucie FL, Faith and Hope Kraeger of Alta Vista VA.
She is predeceased in death by her parents, Jack T and Barbara L Monhollen. Brenda enjoyed many different crafts, her antique booths in Bell Buckle TN and sitting in her back yard enjoying nature. Mostly she loved spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
A visitation for receiving family and friends will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 4, 2023 with a memorial service at 12:00 pm at Fisk Funeral Home, 1107 Massachusetts Ave, St Cloud FL followed by a graveside service at Mount Peace Cemetery.
The family would like to invite everyone to attend an informal gathering to share memories of Brenda on Saturday afternoon from 4-6 pm at VFW Banquet Hall, 915 New York Ave, St. Cloud. FL.
