28-year-old killed on OBT, police looking for suspects

Local police are looking for the suspects responsible for a shooting that claimed 28-year-old man’s life on Orange Blossom Trail last week.

Onel Deondre Lynch was fatally shot on Friday, February 24. That evening, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded at around 7:36 p.m. to the 6400 block of N. Orange Blossom Trail, near Clarcona Ocoee Road, regarding a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies located two men, including Lynch, suffering from gunshot wounds. Lynch was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The other man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. His condition was not provided by police.

Authorities are unsure as to what prompted the shooting and no arrests have been made as of Monday.
