Pastor arrested for drugging, raping woman during ‘spiritual revival,’ Osceola police say

A 50-year-old pastor was arrested this week after a victim came forward and accused him of drugging and raping her once during a “spiritual revival,” and another time months later after he lured her to his home under false pretenses.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Eddy Noelsaint on Monday, February 28, on two counts of sexual battery. Noelsaint, who pastors the Evangelical Church of the Restoration out of his Kissimmee home, is accused of raping a victim in July and November 2022 during a purported spiritual revival.

The victim, who spent her entire life in Haiti before moving to Central Florida recently, reported the incidents earlier this month.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim visited Noelsaint’s home in Kissimmee on July 15 during what she thought was a spiritual revival as part of her cultural and religious beliefs. As part of the practice, the victim says she was baptized in June and visited Noelsaint’s home in July to see her Godmother, Noelsaint’s wife.

On the evening in question, the victim says Noelsaint’s wife prepared a shower for her before leaving for the evening to go to work overnight. While the victim was showering, Noelsaint entered the bathroom and asked her if he could bathe her. The victim turned around and declined.

Later that evening, Noelsaint offered the victim some tea he had prepared. After she drank the tea, Noelsaint frequently asked the victim how she felt. The victim says she remembered not feeling well and verbalized this, to which Noelsaint provided her with two pills.

The victim says that after she took the pills, she became sleepy and began to have a headache as a result of the tea and medication.

A short time later, Noelsaint gave the victim two more pills for the pain. The victim says she recalls her heart rate elevating after she took the pills. While she was in the living room, the victim says she told Noelsaint to contact 911.

Noelsaint escorted the woman to another room, where he laid her on a bed, facing upwards.

The victim says that at that time, Noelsaint stated that due to the size of her vagina, which he had seen earlier while she was in the shower, he neede to sleep with her. The victim says she felt weak and began calling out for help, but was unable to do so because she was too weak.

Noelsaint allegedly removed all of his clothing, except for a white tank top, mounted the woman, and raped her repeatedly. Although the victim attempted to call for help, she was too weak and eventually passed out. The victim says she does not remember anything until the following morning, July 16.

On that day, Noelsaint told the victim that he needed to take her golden wedding ring because there were “bad spirits” located inside of it. When she later asked for the ring back, Noelsaint told her that he had thrown it away.

After nearly four months, the woman returned to the home under the pretense that she was meeting with her Godmother, Noelsaint’s wife. The victim was told that she and Noelsaint’s wife would then go out to look for an apartment.

While the victim was waiting in the home, Noelsaint entered the living room completely naked. The victim says that she was fully aware and in control of her body at that time, and, as a result, scrambled to exit the home. She attempted to leave through a sliding glass door, but could not operate the locking mechanism before she noticed there was a piece of wood blocking the door shut.

As she was trying to escape, Noelsaint allegedly pushed her hand off the door, grabbed her from the front, picked her up and threw her onto a couch.

The victim explained that she was wearing a pink dress, a white undershirt, and purple underwear. While describing the incident to police, the report notes that the victim became emotional while describing her clothing, stating that if she had known something like this was going to happen again, she would have worn “full pants” to make it more difficult for Noelsaint to force himself onto her.

The victim says she struggled with Noelsaint before he overpowered her, pulled her to the edge of the couch, and fought one of her legs free from her underwear. Noelsaint then allegedly knelt on her thighs and held her down by grasping her shoulders, despite the victim fighting and tensing up as much as possible.

Noelsaint pushed and dragged her into the master bedroom and repeatedly told her that he had not finished and if he did not finish, his “head would hurt.” Noelsaint forced her onto the master bed and proceeded to rape her until he ejaculated inside of her.

Upon completion, the victim jumped up while crying hysterically and ran to the guest bathroom, where she cleaned herself.

On Tuesday, February 28, Noelsaint was interviewed by police at the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. During the interview, Noelsaint was “less than forthcoming” about ever being alone with the victim. He told police that he had met the victim outside of his house before bringing her back while his wife was home. He later indicated that his wife was not home, and that he was alone with the victim.

Noelsaint also denied any intimate feelings for the victim, before divulging that he believed the victim was “sexually attracted to him and had a high sex drive.” Noelsaint eventually confessed to having sex with the victim, despite being adamant that he had not throughout the interview.

Noelsaint was transported to the Osceola County Jail, where he is being held on $100,000 bond. He faces two counts of sexual battery on an individual over the age of 18.
