Drunk driver wanted in Kissimmee crash that killed two

Florida Highway Patrol detectives are asking the public for help to locate a man wanted on manslaughter charges after allegedly driving under the influence and causing an accident that claimed the lives of two female passengers in Kissimmee on Christmas Eve in 2021.

Late last year, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Jerrod Deonta James, 33, in connection with a fatal crash that took place at the Golden Link Hotel (4914 U.S. Hwy 192) on December 24, 2021.

According to police, James was behind the wheel of a 2017 Kia Forte that was traveling south through the parking area of the Golden Link Motel. The vehicle began to rotate and collided with a post, ejecting James and killing 18-year-old Angelina Joline Anderson and 31-year-old Giovanna Danaisha Shacqui Anderson.

Police determined that James was driving while he was intoxicated and an arrest warrant was issued for James on December 19, 2022, nearly a year after the accident. He is wanted on multiple charges, including two counts of DUI manslaughter, two counts of vehicular homicide, and driving with a suspended license involving death.

Florida Highway Patrol is asking the public for assistance to locate James. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, contact the Florida Highway Patrol at 407-737-2213, or the Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
