Traffic along westbound Interstate 4 is backed up as crews respond to a six-vehicle accident that injured three people.
Crews from the Orlando Police Department and Orlando Fire Department responded to the accident shortly after 5 p.m. today on westbound I-4, near the Universal Boulevard exit.
The crash involves approximately six vehicles and only one lane of westbound traffic was open as of 5:30 p.m.
Three people were transported to a local hospital, but authorities did not provide any information on the extent of their injuries. Authorities are advising travelers to use the Conroy or Turnpike exits as alternatives.
