29-year-old woman killed in north Orlando shooting, police looking for suspects

A 29-year-old woman was found dead from gunshots in north Orlando last night and police are asking the public for help in finding those responsible.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 2500 block of Greenleaf Drive in reference to a shooting on Thursday, March 9, at around 10:16 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found Sierra Tikeshia Ashley Polson suffering from gunshot wounds. Polson, who was been identified by police on Friday morning, was transported to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Detectives say they believe the incident was domestic in nature. They believe they have identified the suspect and are actively looking for him.
