Celeste Kathleen Jarreau

Celeste Kathleen Jarreau, 88 years old passed away peacefully on March 1 st , 2023, at Gracious Age Nursing Home in Sanford, Florida.

Born in Hancock, Michigan known affectionately as “The Copper County” on January 21, 1935.

She was the daughter of George Rozman and Etta Lenore Owens. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her siblings: Daniel, Bob, George, and Russell, and survived by her brother Tony. She was a beloved sister who sacrificed herself to care for her brothers in childhood.

She married and moved to California, then in the 1970’s moved to Orlando where she continued to raise her children. Survived by Laura, Robert Charles, Connie, Tom, Alena, and stepchildren Robert Wayne (Art). Proceeded in death by her daughters Ruby and Elisa and stepchild Joseph (Joey).

She was a licensed practical nurse and cared for the elderly. Always the caregiver with a kind heart. She loved to dance and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and VFW around Central Orlando. She had a beautiful smile with a positive outlook on life. She will be greatly missed but her memory will carry on through those who knew and loved her.
