A 68-year-old woman claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off she purchased in Longwood recently.
Annettee Hagmann, of Altamonte Springs, claimed the $1 million prize from the Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game at the lottery’s Orlando district office on Wednesday, March 8.
Hagmann chose to receive her winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000. She purchased her winning ticket from Circle K, located at 1140 South County Road 427 in Longwood. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
Launched in September 2021, the $20 scratch-off game features 32 top prizes of $5 million and over 100 prizes of $1 million. The ticket is filled with more than 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000. The overall odds of winning the game are 1-in-2.65.
