Kenneth Russell Mascarenhas

Kenneth Russell Mascarenhas of Orlando Florida passed away at the age of 76 years old, on March 11th, 2023 peacefully at his home with his family at his bedside. Kenneth was born in Bombay, India and was the second of six children. After high school Kenneth found his passion in music and joined a band as a drummer, performing at many events in Goa and Bombay. He also worked internationally to provide for his wife and children.

In April 1990, Kenneth and his wife, along with their four young sons migrated to the United States. Their first stop in the States was in New York. However, the weather proved to be too cold for them so they quickly made their way to Orlando Florida and have resided here since then. Kenneth was a hard working husband and father who always goes to great lengths to provide for his family. His favorite pastime included fishing, playing the drums, and most of all, spending time with his family. Kenneth was loved by everyone he met and always made sure he stayed in contact with family and friends. There is no doubt that he will be terribly missed by his family and friends, but will live on in their hearts and memories eternally.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father George Mascarenhas and mother Delphine Mascarenhas. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Preciosa (Aloma) Mascarenhas; four sons, Trini, Sidney, Danny & Siggy Mascarenhas; daughter in law, Tesha Mascarenhas; brother, Derrick Mascarenhas and sister, Rosita D’Costa; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are all invited to the viewing on Wednesday, March 22nd from 3pm – 7pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. 895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando FL 32822.
