Janet Elaine Fishel

Janet Elaine Fishel, 71 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Janet was born in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Margaret and Walter Fishel. She moved to Kissimmee,Florida 20 years ago from Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania. Janet was a retired telephone operator for A.T & T.. She was a member of the A.T.& T. Pioneers, The Red Hat Society, She loved to Play Bingo, Poker and any card game. She was very creative and artistic, and designed the winning float for A.T.& T. 100th Celebration. Janet was also a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Janet is survived by her brother: Daniel Fishel and his wife Lorie of Poland, Ohio; her sisters: Carol Nordstrom and her husband Tim of Kissimmee, Florida, and Anita Meagher and her husband John of Summerfield, Florida several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at Good Samaritan Village Community Church on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. with Chaplain Tim Nordstrom officiating. Janet will be laid to rest in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association for Stroke patients.
