Ruby Lee Hicks Hardeman

Ruby Lee Hicks Hardeman, 72, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, March 13, 2023. Ruby Lee was born in Bartow, FL on September 13, 1950 to Trudie and Otis Lee Hicks, Sr., who preceded her in death. She accepted The Lord as her Savior at an early age. Professionally, Ruby was employed with Delta Airlines as a cabin service attendant for several years. She was a valued and diligent staff member of Delta Air.

Ruby put God first in all that she did and she made sure her family knew who God was and how good God is. She loved her family and showed love to everyone. Ruby Lee was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. God knew she served her purpose and decided to call her home on March 13th. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ruby Lee’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Lisa L. Hardeman; son, Jeremy David (Ruthie) Hardeman; sisters, Mary (Lugene) Felton, Trudie (Bernie) Harris; brothers, James (Nita) Grant, John (Sonya) Grant, Calvin (Gwen) Hicks, Ralph (Irma) Stevens; 7 grandchildren; a host of other relatives, neighbors, church family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 10:00AM at Ebon Temple, Inc., 7001 Wallace Road, Orlando with Bishop Thomas S. Lee, Jr. officiating.
