A Sanford man who was riding as a passenger in a vehicle was arrested after a traffic stop and subsequent search led police to find methamphetamine, fentanyl, and $13,000 in his possession.
William Cintron, 41, was arrested on Thursday, March 16, by a deputy with the Deltona Crime Suppression Team who had pulled over the vehicle he was riding in due to an expired tag.
Cintron, who was riding as a passenger in the vehicle, was found to be carrying 22.2 grams of meth, 6.2 grams of fentanyl, and more than $13,000 in cash in a small safe.
Cintron was arrested and faces multiple charges, including trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of cannabis, and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $201,000.
Cintron was released on Friday, March 17, after posting bail.
