Multiple fire departments responded to a fire that tore through a residence in Maitland on Tuesday night.
The Maitland Fire Rescue Department and firefighting crews from Winter Park, Seminole County, and Orange County responded to 1811 Rogers Avenue on Tuesday, March 21, after receiving reports of a house fire.
According to authorities, the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes of the arrival of the emergency crews.
As a result of their efforts, firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading and damaging a neighboring home.
Although the residents of the home were displaced because of the fire, smoke, and water damage, no injuries were reported.
