Traffic homicide investigation closes John Young Parkway for hours

A traffic homicide investigation temporarily shut down John Young Parkway for several hours on Wednesday morning.

Kissimmee Police Department detectives were on the scene of a traffic homicide investigation on John Young Parkway shortly after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28.

Authorities shut down three northbound lanes of John Young Parkway, between Columbia Street and Donegan Avenue, to investigate the matter. Motorists were rerouted for several hours until the roadway reopened on Wednesday afternoon.
