A 63-year-old man claimed a $1 million prize this week from a scratch-off he purchased from a convenience store in Ocoee.
James Riley claimed the $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED scratch-off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee this week. Riley chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump sum payment of $795,000.
Riley purchased the winning ticket from Ocoee Food mart, a convenience store located at 700 South Bluford Avenue in Ocoee. The retailer will receive a commission bonus of $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Launched in September 2021, the GOLD RUSH LIMITED scratch-off game features 32 top prizes of $5 million, as well as 100 prizes of $1 million.
