Orange County officials will officially cut the ribbon on a new skate park at Barnett Park this weekend.
The Barnet Park Skate Park is now open for business, with a planned ribbon cutting set for Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The park is located at 4801 W Colonial Drive.
Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and District 6 Commissioner Mike Scott will host the ceremony, which is free and open to the public.
The event will feature free food, music, giveaways, and other activities.
