Mary Ann McCollough (mom), 76 passed away peacefully and was surrounded by her family on 01 April 2023 at South Seminole Hospital in Seminole County, Florida due to complications from COPD.

Mom was born in Laurel Co, London, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents Calvin Cummins Jr (London, Ky), Beatrice Ball (Rockcastle County, Ky), and her sister Betty Cummins (London, Ky).

Mom fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Cosmetologist while in New Mexico and eventually taught at the school. She also worked at Ethicon. After her late husband, Tony McCollough, retired from the Air Force, they moved to Orlando, Fla in 1990 to be closer to their parents. She worked as a Student Advisor at Mid Florida Tech and mom made many lifelong friendships. She was a hard worker, and everyone loved her. Most of all, she was the greatest mom ever and made sure we knew she loved us daily.

Mom was the kind of person that welcomed everyone and her love language was to make sure everyone had something to eat every time you went to her house. Her Kentucky accent sure will be missed.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughters Leshia Hibbitts (Leanne Aplanalp), Sheila Hibbitts-Alvares(Jose) Kimberly Grayson,, Toni Ann McCollough (Rick Apple). Granddaughters- Erica Cruz, Alyssa Grayson, egan Apple, Liz Lockwood. Grandsons- Anthony Alvarez, Nikolas Grayson, and Chris Lockwood. Great grands are Alena Edmondson, Ajani Green, Emma Newton, Mallory Milligan, and Cody & Sebastian Lockwood.

Mom will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in December 2023 when more family can be present at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
