Katherine P. Bell, was born January 12, 1947 in Valdosta, Georgia to parents, Demos Corbett and Lucille Corbett. At a young age, the family relocated to Apopka, Florida, where she attended Phyllis Wheatley School and graduated in the class of 1965.
In 1965, Mother Bell met the love of her life, Brother Ernest Lee Bell. The two were united in Holy Matrimony and remained inseparable for 54 years.
Mother Bell was employed with Nelson Nurseries as a Greenhouse Tech for many years. She also worked as a lunchroom attendant at Apopka High School before finalizing her work career at Village on the Green until her retirement.
Mother Bell was a devout Christian who served the Lord respectfully and was deeply loved by all that knew her. She served the Lord faithfully at the Temple of Faith Pentecostal Church of Holiness for 42 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Demos and Lucille Corbett; Brothers: Melvin Corbett and Ralph Corbett; and Sister, Josie Inman.
She leaves to continue in the faith and cherish her memories, her beloved Husband, Ernest Lee Bell; 4 beautiful Children: Vincent Corbett of Columbus, Ohio, Cynthia Hundley, Janet Hundley-Smith, and Betty Washington, all of Apopka, Florida; Sister, Gwendolyn Armstrong (Adolph) of Valdosta, Georgia; Sister-in law, Donna Corbett of Newark, Ohio; 12 Grand-children: Krenishia, Tiffani, Adarian, Sylvester, Brittany, JaSean, Shaila, Arrington, Brandon, Brianna, Jalen, and Jaren; 15 Great Grandchildren: Ma’Cayla, Jaden, Karter, Kaleb, Amari, Ariah, Miriah, Arrington, Jr., Prince, Roxroy, Briel, Sade, Tia, Troy, and Dior; 7 Godchildren: Darren, Tomeka, Clinton, Quinton, Maysha, Keyshaunda, and Ariel; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
