Two people were killed after their vehicle left the roadway, crashed into a light pole, and became engulfed in flames on Interstate 4.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place on I-4, near mile marker 64 in Osceola County, on Sunday, April 23 at around 2:30 p.m.
A man and woman, who have not been identified by authorities, were traveling westbound on the highway in the center lane. The man, who was driving, attempted to change lanes to the outside lane and lost control.
As a result, the vehicle, a 2018 BMW M5, ran off the right side of the roadway and onto the outside grass shoulder.
The vehicle began to rotate, and its right rear collided with a light pole before it became engulfed in flames.
