A puppy was among those saved in two separate fires that Orange County crews battled on Tuesday.
Multiple units from the Orange County Fire Rescue responded to two incidents on Tuesday, April 25.
During the first incident, firefighters were called to a house fire in Pine Hills. During their takedown of the fire, crews found a puppy inside the home.
The puppy was safely rescued from the home and reunited with the owner. No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
During a second incident, firefighters responded to reports of a house on the 100 block of 1st Street. The fire was extinguished and one occupant was evacuated.
That person did not require medical attention and was assisted with displacement by Red Cross.
