William D. Moran III, 82 died peacefully April 24, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born August 7, 1940 in Darby, Pennsylvania, the son of William D. Moran, Jr. and Phyllis (Carey) Moran.
Bill graduate from Monsignor Bonner High School and St. Joseph University. He served with United States Marine Reserves. He began his 36 year career as a senior financial analyst with Westinghouse in Lester, PA and relocated to Florida with the company in 1981. Following his retirement from Westinghouse he worked at both Albertsons and Publix as a customer service representative.
After relocating to Florida, Bill married Mary Christine (Benham) Moran. They celebrated 40 years of marriage in December 2022. Bill was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Casselberry.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Phyllis. In addition to his wife Mary he is survived by his children William David Moran IV, Grant Joseph Moran and wife Ashley, daughter Maryalice (Molly) Moran as well as four grandchildren, Elsie Victoria, Grant Joseph, Jr., Maggie Christine, and Colton Thomas Moran, his sister Katherine Aloisio and husband James of New York, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th at All Souls Historic Chapel, 800 Oak Avenue, Sanford. Interment will take place at a later date.
