Comic Con in Apopka: Apopkon returns this weekend

A Comic Con style event will return to Apopka with a star-studded slate of guests this weekend.

Apopkon will take place on Saturday, May 6, at 221 S Binion Road in Apopka, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the event will continue with S’more Apopkon, an after hours event.

The event will feature multiple celebrity guests, including Tom Guiry, John Morris, Nick Gomez, and Phil Moore, among others. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet stars, take photos, and receive autographs.

Cosplay is encouraged and after the event is complete, an after hours event will showcase ghost stories read by Mark Muncy around a campfire.

Tickets to the event are $25 at the door and include entry to both Apopkon and S’more Apopkon. Veterans, active military members, and children under 13 years old may attend for free. To read the entire lineup of guests, or to purchase tickets, visit the Apopkon website.
