276-foot cuban sandwich? Local event will attempt record this weekend

A local organization will host a record-attempting cuban sandwich event in Kissimmee this weekend.

The free event is open to the public and will take place on Sunday, May 7 at Kissimmee’s Lake Front Park, which is located at 201 Lakeview Drive). The event will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The event will feature multiple restaurants attempting to make the world’s largest cuban sandwich. The 246-foot cuban sandwich will be donated to a local homeless shelter to feed the homeless.
