Barbara H. Thibou

Barbara Thibou was born to the parents of Lionel and Lilly Doyle on December 4th, 1993, on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. She came to America in the early sixty’s seeking a better life for her 7 children. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her girlfriends. She enjoyed a full life, inspiring and helping a host of people known and unknown without hesitation. She worked at “Brooklyn Jewish Hospital for over two decades as a nurse’s aide, giving care and comfort to countless patients. She was dedicated to their care with affection that met their needs.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lionel & Lilly Doyle, her sister Margaret Bourne, nephew Tony Bourne and Algee “The King” Bourne. Nieces Anette, Jacklyn, Ingrid, and Jasmine.

She leaves cherished memories of her seven children, Gary, Hayden, Camille, Rhonda, Trevelle, Tracey, and Ershwyn “Monty”. She grand mothered eighteen plus grandchildren, also was an aunt and great aunt to many others. In other words, she left a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

There will be a viewing prior to the service Friday May 12th at 11am-11:55am. Service begins 12 noon at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory. 9001 N. Orlando Ave, Maitland Fl, 32571.
