Kissimmee will host a sanctioned hot-dog eating contest to qualify contestants for a chance to compete in the 2023 Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest.
The qualifier contest will take place on Saturday, May 13, at 12 p.m. in the Old Town entertainment district at 5770 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Suite 135.
All those interested in participating must be 18 years of age or older and must fully acknowledge and understand the “inherent dangers and risks associated with participating in an eating contest,” according to Major League Eating, who is organizing the event.
