Apopka police are thanking the public for helping to identify a man who they arrested for burglarizing multiple vehicles and using stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases.

Jason Christopher McNeill was arrested on Tuesday, May 2, by Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies on charges of burglary of a conveyance, grand theft, and credit card fraud.

According to the Apopka Police Department, McNeill was seen entering the Errol Estates subdivision located on Orange Blossom Trail on Sunday, April 9.

While he was in the community, McNeill allegedly burglarized unlocked vehicles and made off with multiple credit cards. He then used the credit cards to make fraudulent purchase at retail stores in the area.

After a tip from the public helped authorities identify McNeill, he a warrant for his arrest was obtained and he was tracked down to a home in Eustis.
