A boat caught on fire on Thursday afternoon at the largest water boat dealership in Central Florida.
On Thursday, May 11, crews from the Seminole County Fire Department and Sanford Fire Department responded to reports of a boat fire at the Boat Tree Marina, which is located at 4370 Carraway Place in Sanford.
According to authorities, a fire broke out below the deck of a 36-foot Chris Craft. Crews took the fire under control, with one patient needing medical assistance at the scene.
One of the firefighters that responded to the incident had to be transported to a local hospital with a minor injury.
Seminole county fire investigators and the State Fire Marshal’s office are investigating the blaze.
