A new “water adventure attraction” will open later this week at Aquatica Orlando.
The Turi’s Kid Cove will officially open to the public on Thursday, May 18. According to the park, the new attraction will be located between the Big Surf Shores and Mango Market.
Turi’s Kid Cove is filled with watering palms, tipping buckets, spraying jets, water bobbles, and the Tamariki Twirl, which is a child-sized wave slide designed for younger riders. Children will be able to use a tube to ride the new portion of the ride.
There are no height limits required to ride the attraction. The maximum water depth of the beach area is 18 inches, while the maximum water depth at the bottom of the slides is 24 inches. Diaper-aged children must wear swim diapers, which are available for purchase at the gift shop.
Later this month, SeaWorld Orlando will debut its new, Pipeline roller coaster. The park is still offering free admission to military members and their guests who sign up by May 14. From now through most of July, guests who are 21 years old and up may receive a complimentary beer.
