Altamonte Springs police are looking for information that will help them track down a suspect responsible for shooting a man at a local hotel.
Altamonte Springs Police Department officers responded to the Opal Hotel & Suites (230 W SR 436) in reference to a shooting on Wednesday, May 17, at around 1:24 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a 50-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was immediately transported to the hospital. Information on his condition or the extent of his injuries was not provided by police.
Detectives and crime scene units are currently on the scene gathering information and investigating the shooting.
