Rafael Padilla, age 95, of Winter Springs, FL passed away on Thursday May 18th,2023 at his home. Rafael ,”Ray”, was born on April 2,1928 in Anasco, Puerto Rico.
Son to Juana Gonzalez and Dimas Padilla. He enlisted in the Army to serve our country and then married late Margot Cuprill before relocating to New York City. Ray worked his way up to the Towerman position with the New York City Transit Authority before retiring.
He is survived by his wife Lucy, son Rafael and daughters Maria Padilla, Ruby Santos and husband Angel and the late Nydia Padilla Requat. In addition he is survived by grandchildren Irene, Jabril , Goddy, Rashida and husband Nigel, Amy and husband Erik, Erica, Sean and wife Heather, Philip and wife Lynn and Olivia. Ray was also the proud great grandfather to Steven, Everlasting, Life, Arianna, Eythan, Theodore, Sawyer ,Clio and Persephone.
