Central Florida Zoo celebrating Asian American culture with sunset event

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will host its first sunset event of 2023 this week to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander culture and heritage.

The Sunset at the Zoo event will take place on Friday, May 26, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitors will be able to explore the zoo with music, entertainment, Asian-themed food trucks, themed crafts, and family activities until the sun goes down.

The event will also feature traditional dances from Tahiti, Hawaii, New Zealand, and Samoa.
