Kenneth Catlette

Kenneth J Catlette, age 82, passed away under Hospice Care May 18th, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born Sept 6th, 1940 to the Late Kenneth L and Blanche M Catlette. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Julia F Catlette, Daughter, Tina M Catlette, Son, Kenneth J Catlette Jr.,one sister, Janice M Britton, and several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth (Jim) grew up in Vienna WV, where he was an Eagle Scout, graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1958, and attended Glenville State College. He lived in Maryland until he moved his family to Florida in 1969. He worked as a Grocery Store Manger and a Beverage Sales Area Manager until his retirement in Altamonte Springs, Fl.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and camping in his early years and became an avid cyclist in retirement. He enjoyed riding the bike trails in Altamonte Springs and surrounding areas. He was a member of a local Cycling Club and created his own group called The Posse where Food, Fun and riding was their Motto. He also participated in cycling fund raisers such as The Tour de Cure and Ride for Champions. Kenneth was known by many people and could walk up to anyone and make them a friend.
