Summer reading kickoff at Winter Park Library

The Winter Park Library will host a summer reading kickoff event for children this weekend.

The library will host a summer reading kickoff event on Saturday, May 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its headquarters, which is located at 1052 Morse Boulevard in Winter Park.

The event will feature carnival games, the opportunity to make person-powered snow cones, a petting zoo with a variety of exotic animals, and other kid-friendly activities. Children will also have the opportunity to join the 18,000 Books Challenge and receive a free book.
